Trainings
The Flashbulb offers one-on-one and small group trainings and workshops where you will learn and practice the skills needed to create projects, improve your business and reach your individual and group goals. Students will meet with an instructor to identify learning goals for the course and create a customized schedule and curriculum. Our teachers have targeted skills and years of professional experience however one of the most valuable things our students reflect to us is having a supportive listener to bounce ideas off and build accountability around the steps needed to move forward.

Business Plan DevelopmentThis course guides students through the process of creating a business plan for a small business. Students learn how to clarify their business purpose, products, marketing, operations, and more in the hands on class. Each course is tailored to meet students specific employment goals and particular work environment.

Bookkeeping and Financial ManagementThis course teaches students the basics of bookkeeping and creating budgets to build skills for employment in small business or non-profit settings. Students will become proficient in using spreadsheets, Quickbooks, and creating financial documents that make sense for their workplace.

Time management and Task TrackingThis course develops time management and task tracking skills necessary for employment in small business or non-profit settings that require a high degree of independence and self-direction. Students will learn to identify their current relationship to time and tasks, build upon strengths, and learn tools from the fields of organizational psychology and organizational development to address weaknesses and develop strengths.

Conflict Prevention and TransformationThis course engages students to lean in to conflict, building tools to prevent and transform conflicts that emerge in the workplace. Students will become proficient facilitators of a wide variety of conflict tools, a valuable skillset in any team oriented workplace.. Each course is tailored to meet students specific employment goals and particular work environment.

Holistic Project DevelopmentThis course guides students through the process of developing new projects within a small business or non-profit. Students learn how to compose vision statements, mission statements, and project budgets, compose and present project proposals, identify and track project tasks, roles, and progress markers. There is a focus on developing communication/tracking systems to maintain balance between new projects and existing workload in the context of their current employment. Each course is tailored to meet the students goals and particular work environment. Level 1 and Level 2 trainings available. Students must complete Holistic Project Development Level 1 in order to qualify for Holistic Project Development Level 2 |
Logistics
The above Trainings are custom one-on-one courses and are designed to fit your schedule. Classes generally meet weekly, biweekly or monthly for 3 to 6 months. Tuition for our one-on-one trainings is $2500. Payment plans are available and some Vermont residents may be eligible for a VSAC Non-degree Grant to cover the full tuition.
